Manuel John Jewett, 39, of Big Bend, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Big Bend Community Hall in Big Bend. Burial will follow at the Howe Family Cemetery in Big Bend. A procession to Big Bend will form at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Luze Funeral Home, Highmore, followed by a 7:00 p.m. wake service at the Big Bend Community Hall.

He is survived by his mother, Clarice (Howe) Jewett, Brothers – Wakinya Jewett & Kenneth Jewett III, of Harrold. Two sisters – Sunsaneye Jewett & Sharice Jewett. Nephews – Edward, Maverick & Mason. Nieces – Eunice & Emerson. Aunts – Janice (Louis) Adrian, Candice Howe, Marice Ashley, Marvella Jewett, Gwen Jewett, Theresa McCann. Uncles – Raynard (Loralee) Howe & Charles Howe.
