I extend my condolences as Melvin was a very interesting man to talk with and always had a pleasant and positive attitude. He will be missed.
My association with Melvin was when I worked for the SD Agricultural Statistical Service and Melvin and his brother were very gracious when I called on them. They were true gentlemen. God Bless you, Melvin and take you home to be with Him. In sympathy, Pat Rausch
Sorry to hear of the loss of Melvin. He was a very good man and lived his life to the fullest. I am sure he is in a much better place right now. I remember going to his place after school and getting the BIG candy bars from the fridge in the shed. They were all good hearted people. Our prayers are with all he left behind.
The family of Steve Simon Jr. sends condolences and sympathies. Melvin was such a good neighbor on the farm. A very kind man. He always enjoyed visiting with us. May God reward him for his goodness. Alice Simon
