Patty was born on September 30, 1963, on the Crow Creek reservation to Kay DeSheuquette. After living there for some time, she moved to Chamberlain and became a part of the Dakota Milestone family; there she would stay until her passing.
Patty worked various places and was involved in anything she could be including: Cedar Shore, Arby’s, Dakota Milestone CAP building, bowling league and many other groups in Chamberlain. To say everyone knew Patty is an understatement; it seems like at one time or another everyone met Patty. She had an infectious smile and a bubbly, social personality which drew people to her. She was always ready for a joke or prank!
Patty dealt with many medical issues her entire life. Throughout the last year was especially difficult, but throughout it all Patty never gave up. When it looked like another illness was going to overcome her, somehow, she always managed to push through and stay strong. During her last hours, she was still joking around and had a big smile on her face.
Patty loved and she was loved.
Patty is survived by so many family members and friends in her community and many other communities that are too numerous to mention.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Patty’s arrangements.

I have known Patty for many, many years. Patty and I were in grade school together. We basically grew up together. She was a special person and always will hold a special place in my heart. I saw her throughout the years and she always knew who I was, even when her eyesight failed, after years of not being around her when I would see her, she always recognized my voice. Prayers to her family and she will be missed.
Many thoughts and prayers to Patty’s family. I have known Patty since 5th grade. We used to giggle in Mrs. Budahl’s class and have kept in touch over the last 45’ish years. She brought smiles to mine and many classmates. I stopped in to see her the beginning of June and she was in good spirits. We had a few laughs as usual. I will miss her. ❤️❤️❤️
