Percy Williams, 90, of Miller, died Tuesday, March 06, 2007 at the Prairie Good Samaritan Center in Miller.

Funeral services were held at 2:00p.m., Friday, March 9, 2007, at the Reck Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Jones officiating. Burial was in the St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation was held from 3:00-7:00p.m. Thursday, March 8 at the Reck Funeral Home with a 7:00p.m. prayer service.

Percy Williams was born on October 28, 1916 in St. Lawrence to Otis and Nellie (Martin) Williams. He lived around the St. Lawrence and Miller area all of his life. On February 29, 1940, he married Lily Marshall in Huron. Throughout most of their married life, they lived on a farm thirteen miles north of Miller.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Miller and was awarded for the outstanding Senior Presbyterian in 1994. Percy entered the Prairie Good Samaritan Center in 2005.

He is survived by two sons: Lyle (Pamela) and Ronald (Marilyn) both of St. Lawrence; two daughters: Carol of Huron and Nancy of Miller; one sister: Vivian Lawless of San Diego, CA; three brother-in-laws: Francis (Dorothy) Marshall of Miller, Alvin (Rosella) Marshall of Rapid City, and Lyle (Evelyn) Marshall of Rapid City; one sister-in-law: Gertrude Williams of Omak, WA; four grandchildren: Corey Williams of Charlotte, NC, Eric Williams of St. Lawrence, Dustin Williams of Fullerton, CA and Julie Kenaston of St. Lawrence; three great grandchildren: Jennifer, Jannelle and Josh all of St. Lawrence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lily; brothers: Everett, Estol, Orval, and Francis; and sisters: Olive and Daisy.
