God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come with me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts, to prove to us, He only takes the best.
You Will Always Be In My Heart, Mish Mash….
Plesant was a good friend to Theresa and I We had many good visits in the Nursing Home. Our friendly banter made her laugh many times when she didn’t have much to laugh at.
I have been a friend of the Brazelton family for many years. I will miss him.

My Soldiers Prayer

im going to miss you grandpa and i love you very much.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Pleasant was always quite the jokester and we will miss visiting with him.
My deepest condolences to your family in this terrible time of loss. Your family has lost a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. This must be very difficult.
Why death is so difficult to cope with is that death was not a part of God’s original purpose for mankind. Unfortunately, we have all inherited sin and death from the first man, Adam. (Romans 5:12)
I lost my father when he was only 51 and I was 26. I also became a widow at 32. No one can fully understand the pain of your loss as well as you can, except our God in heaven who, as the bible says, “is greater than our hearts and knows all things.” (1 John 5:20) He deeply feels your suffering and begs you to “throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
One of the things that comforted me most was understanding that one day soon, Jesus promises that “all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. (John 5:28,29) Life will soon be restored to God’s original purpose when Jesus causes his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matt 6:9,10)
I hope that your family may find comfort as I have in these promises. May God be with you in your time of loss.
