Ronda Pearman
January 15, 1975 ~ December 25, 2024
Ronda Pearman, 49, of Eagle Butte, peacefully entered the spirit world on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Monument Health, Rapid City. She was welcomed by all the angels and her family members.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MST, Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow at the Mossman Cemetery, Ridgeview. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the church.
Ronda Lynn Pearman was born during a blizzard on January 15, 1975, in Eagle Butte, SD to Ronald and Nita K. (Marshall) Pearman. She attended Headstart through the 11th grade in Eagle Butte, later completing her G.E.D. at Takini. She continued to attend Haskell Indian Nation University, Lawrence, KS from 1998 and 1999.
Ronda returned home and worked for Walter Miner Law Enforcement facility as a detention officer and also as a clerk of courts for CRST Tribal Courts.
On Mary 27, 2008, Ronda welcomed her son, Layton. She raised him and he became her main focus and love of her life.
During Ronda’s life, she had some health issues, primarily Type I diabetes which continued until her passing.
Ronda was a hard-core Dallas Cowboys fan. She thrived on helping her family and friends with anything and everything.
Ronda is survived by her son, Layton Lyle Lloyd; mother, Nita Pearman; brothers: Marshall “Hoss” (Tanya) Pearman, Lawrence “L’Jay “Pearman, and Chad Pearman; nieces: Amira, Taya, Ava, Ashlyn, and Lexi; nephews: Hudson, Halsey, Asher, and Jo; several other nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her angel baby; father, Ronald Pearman; brother, Chas E. Pearman; grandmothers: Ruby Marshall and Stella Pearman; grandfathers: Irving Marshall and Kenneth Pearman; and all family members that have passed as well.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Ronda’s arrangements.




I will treasure all the times we had together. Love you cuddy forever and forever… Till we meet again. Triple L, Auntie loves you and know I'll always be here.
