Hall Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Some of my most precious memories of Velda were probably anytime I walked into your home, there was always something wonderful baking. She was always there.
Hold dear to the memories.

Janet: I’m very to sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. You should know that you will spend every day of the rest of your life thinking about her, but the pain eventually is replaced by memories that bring about a very real joy. Be strong and patient.
Grandma…we will miss you so dearly. You were and will always be the strongest woman we’ve ever known! I am so greatful that you are no longer suffering and are reunited with God and your family. Dustin and I truly wished you could have been present at our wedding in August and I know you wanted to, but we are so thankful that you are free of pain and are waiting in heaven for us someday. We love you so much and you will have a front row seat at our big day. You will be missed dearly! WE LOVE YOU!!
~Dustin & Rachel
I always looked forward to visiting Velda and Jack in Gettysburg. All my memories are of family, good friendship, good food, and fun times.
Velda will be missed very much but her memory will continue with her friends and family.
I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, Sandy. You are a devoted daughter.
I will miss grandma everyday but, my heart is at peace with the knowledge that one day we will all be reunited in Heaven. Until that day, I know she will be my angel guiding me.
May God forever watch over and protect her.
It’s hard to find the words that might bring comfort to you right now. We just hope you’ll remember how much we care and that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Janet and family, So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. As I think about so many recent losses of “our parents” I am so grateful to have grown up surrounded by so many of them who gave meaning to it takes a community to raise a child. May you find comfort in fond memories and family and friends.
May you find comfort and hope in the words of Jesus in John 11:25-26, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” The family and friends of Velda are in our prayers here at Immanuel Lutheran.
My prayers and thoughts are with Velda in her passing and with her family in their living.
Safe travels to all the family and friends. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love Laird & Dee
Sandy and family my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother. May your memories help you in the coming months and years. May God grant you His peace and grace.
Sandy and family,
It is a blessing that God took your mom home but that doesn’t make it any easier to lose your precious mother. She and I had a special bond because of our disease in common. She was always concerned about me and I liked her a lot.
Will be looking forward to you all staying with us. I have plenty of room. See you next week.
My number is 605-765-9136 if you need anything.

Velda Hall will be missed by all of us who knew her. It was always enjoyable to talk with her when she and I were visiting Sandy and Phil in Denver. I admire her fortitude in facing her long illness with courage. May Jack and her children draw strength from her memory.
We are neighbors and friends of Sandy and Phil Dinan. We didn’t know Velda, but Sandy spoke of her often. Sandy is such a wonderful person, that knowing her is probably a glimpse of her Mom. Our prayers go the family. We are so sorry for your loss.

Grandma,
You have lived such a full and rich life. The inspiration and wisdom that I get from you can never truly be explained in words but only by our actions. You provided such a wonderful home for your five children and husband a warmth and comfort for all your grandchildren and great grandchildren. I knew this day would come but I don’t know how to say goodbye, I think see you in time is more appropriate.
When we gather at a table surrounded by good food (not as good as yours though) I know you will be there in spirit. When we are stuck between a rock and a hard spot with raising our children I know you will be there to guide us. Grandma you where not just a homemaker but a legacy, you have built this amazing family that I am so grateful to have and be a part of. We all have a piece of you and I will hold it tight in hopes that I will never loose it. I love you and miss you more then ever. Your memory is just as beautiful as you were.
I have been blessed with an amazing mentor to raise Brinlee thank you, Thank you. I don’t know how to explain you are gone to a 2 year old but her angle Grandma Hall is in her prays at night.
You are our angle to watch us threw the night until we wake the morning light.
Grandma peace is with you.
I am sorry to hear of your loss, though I am sure she is more comfortable where she is now.
My sympathies are with you

Jack & family…I am so sorry for your loss. Velda will be missed terribly. She was the big sister that helped me so during Mom’s illnesses. When Dad passed away, she was one who understood so much how I felt because she felt she had lost a dad too. All my love.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Save those special memories of Velda close in your heart and think of them often. I’m sure she is smiling down from heaven over her family. Take Care.
