Wade Anthony Ducheneaux, 68, of Eagle Butte passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, peacefully at home after a two-year battle with cancer.
Private family services will be held.
Wade was born on December 1, 1956, at the Old Agency in South Dakota to Henry “Bud” and Rita Pauline (LeBeau) Ducheneaux. He married Diane Lynn Gage on February 11, 1981, and together they raised three children: Jeanette, Laura, and Anthony. Wade enjoyed spending time outdoors and cherished being with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Ducheneaux; his children, Jeanette (Thomas) Bennett, Laura (Joshua) Brewer, and Anthony (Amber) Ducheneaux; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Allen Ducheneaux, Henry Ducheneaux, Marsha Vrooman, Carol Morgan, and Rita (Pete) Carlson; and his father-in-law, George Gage.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Henry “Bud” and Rita Pauline Ducheneaux, and his mother-in-law, Suzanne Gage.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Wade’s arrangements.
