Larry Danburg, 77, of Miller, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller, surrounded by his family.
Celebration of Larry’s life will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m, with a short program at 3:00 p.m, Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the American Legion, Miller.
Larry was born on February 12, 1947, to Ray and Rose Danburg. He graduated from Miller High School, attended USD in Vermillion, and then moved back to Miller. He became an electrician and ended his career as an electrical contractor.
He married Dee Yost on October 03, 1966, and to this union, four children were born: Michelle, Jeff, Jim, and Mike.
He loved playing and coaching baseball with three state tournament championships.
As a friend once told Dee, Larry is rounding third…headed for home.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dee; daughter, Michelle (Mike Kenny) Turner; sons: Jeff (Angie), Jim (Christi), and Mike (Shannon); grandchildren: Eric, Abby, and Adam Turner, Ty and Taylor Kenny, Will and Coby Danburg, Kelby Tracy, Kaden and Jenna Danburg, and Heather and Cassidy Danburg; brothers: Jerry and Dan Danburg; brother-in-law, Jerry Yost; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Rose Danburg; sisters: Marilyn and Roxanne Danburg.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Larry’s arrangements.
