Absolutely sadden to hear of this marvelous person’s death. Dessie was a warm, caring friendly woman with a huge heart and a beautiful smile. She will be missed, as St. Ann’s Catholic Church will never be the same without her presence there. May you all find peace. We were glad to have known Dessie. We’re sorry we were unable to attend the funeral as we were out of town.

Dessie was such a dear friend to my family. Whenever I would visit her with Mom or Dad, Dessie would ask about my life and how things were going. Dessie loved to reminisce about her childhood in St. Lawrence and the dear memories it held. She loved family and often expressed the importance of it. As my parents, Fred and Evelyn, aged, Dessie was there for them and embraced them dearly. The memory of Dessie will be forever in my heart.
