Kieth Manfull

Kieth Manfull, 76, of Gettysburg passed away, Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Gettysburg Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Grace Bible Church in Gettysburg with Pastor Carey Gossen officiating. Burial was in the Gettysburg Cemetery, directed by Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg. Visitation was held from 3:30 p.m-5:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Grace Bible Church with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service.
Kieth was born May 11, 1932 on the family home north of Gettysburg to Harry and Hazel (Stockstad) Manfull. He attended grade school at Lincoln Country School then high school, graduating from Gettysburg High School in 1949. He then received a degree in animal husbandry from SDSU in 1955. Following college Kieth served in the Army from 1955-1958.
Kieth was active in 4-H and church youth group through college, loved to show cattle and was chairman of the Little International at Brookings in 1954.
On June 12, 1960 he married Vena Stoddard in Plankinton, SD. They resided in Potter County where they raised three children, Arlo, Carma and Karen. He enjoyed farming and ranching until medical problems forced him to quit in 1973. After that he enjoyed serving God by working with Wednesday night kids’ activities, doing church maintenance and singing in choir. He also enjoyed working at the Dakota Sunset Museum, having coffee and sweets with friends and attending grandchildren’s activities.
Kieth was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Hazel Manfull.
Survivors include his wife: Vena of Gettysburg; son: Arlo (Kathy) and children Kyrstyn, Landyn and Riley of Billings, MT; daughters: Carma (Ed) Wager and children Mark, Samantha and Jessika of Gettysburg and Karen of Santa Rosa, CA; and two sisters: Verla (Herb) Jungemann of Seward, NE and Lila (Al) Houck-Urlis of Ft. Pierre
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Kieth's arrangements.

Tim and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Keith. When I would see him at the Rock, he would shake his finger at me and grin. I just couldnt wait to hear what he had to say to me. They say God only takes the best, and in this case I believe it’s true. May you feel God’s loving arms wrapped around you as you go through these most difficult days.

I got to know Kieth when I was Treasurer of the museum board. He was such a nice man and always pleasant to me. I know you will all miss him. May you find comfort in our Lord Jesus.

passing. When Mom and his Dad Harry
were at the Manor he was always so

I was very saddened to hear of Keith’s passing and am so sorry for your loss. He was such a nice man! I have many fond memories of him from when I was child…he was always riding his bike and I never saw him without a big smile on his face. He will be missed by many…
