What a strong mother, blessed cousin, and devoted member of the community!
I will always be grateful to Shirley for the kindness she shared with us. She willingly shared her Dad with our family and accepted us without malice. Mac and Mom had many happy years. [ Mac made our family complete and rescued Mom from widowhood after my own dad died.] Mac’s family and especially Shirley will always have a special place in my heart. She was a remarkable woman.
Many memories of your mom from my grade school days and our years together at Rowen School-sincere sympathies to all of your families.

Deepest sympathy to the family. Shirley is remembered from her time attending Concordia Lutheran Church in Wessington many years ago. I have enjoyed reading Lisa’s family memories in the Miller Press about life in those days.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! We always enjoyed visiting with Shirley.
