Andre' Eberhard
May 12, 2002 ~ June 10, 2025
Andre’ Eberhard, 23, of Eagle Butte, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Eagle Butte.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MDT, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at CEB Auditorium, Eagle Butte. A wake will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the auditorium, with a procession from 3-Miles east of Eagle Butte at 5:00 p.m.
Andre’ Pierce Eberhard was born on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2002, in Pierre, SD.
Andre’ was an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and raised on the Cheyenne River Reservation by his father, Galen, with the (sometimes unwanted) help of Gramma Susan, Uncle Kirk, and Neeners (Rikki).
Andre’ loved his river days with his Gramma Susan and Poppa Keith. He loved his Minnesota trips with Robb, Kara, Robbie, and Ashten. He was a second grandson to Sylvia and the late Jim Picotte and a second son to Dawn LeBeau.
Honesty Rose, his older sister, was his protector, his rock, his ride or die, best friend, and worst enemy all in one. She made sure he was taken care of first.
In 2007, Sheyenne (Koral) Jandreau was introduced to Andre’. From that day forward, he had a forever mom. Andre’ would not let her out of his sight. Camden, Trevor, Honesty, and Andre’ became a family unit, the foundation they all needed. It wouldn’t be long until Shesha and Austin (Buddy) would join them.
Andre’ spent most of his summers with his gramma Susan and poppa Keith at the river and spent numerous hours on the river swimming, fishing, boating, or just playing. He enjoyed time with all his river family.
Andre’ attended school in Eagle Butte and he graduated from Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in 2020. He met many of his lifelong friends during this time. People often thought he and Ashten were biological brothers as they were rarely seen apart from each other. He attended Haskell Indian Nations University where he spent time in the gym and with his friends while attending classes.
Andre’ was a sports enthusiast. He tried his hand at various sports – he was awarded most dedicated in golf and basketball. He excelled in football, but not until his late high school years. His passion was gaming.
Andre’ worked for various entities including Vilas, Ubetcha Wateca, Taco Johns, Kelsie Kay’s Coffee Depot, Eagle Storage and The State Bank of Eagle Butte, where he was employed at the time of his death. Through these positions, he made many friends, some of which became family. He loved his community.
Andre’ loved Ahmyli Clark from the minute he met her until the minute he died. He told his dad “She is the love of my life.” He loves her entire family. He left behind two fur babies, Bean and Noir.
He is survived by Galen and Sheyenne Eberhard; grandmother, Susan (Keith) Smart; and grandfather, Bill (Ardys) Jandreau all of Eagle Butte; sisters: Honesty Rose Eberhard and Shesha Eberhard both of Eagle Butte; brothers: Camden Jandreau, Eagle Butte, Trevor (Trinity) Bourland, Aberdeen, and Austin Eberhard, Eagle Butte; Uncle Kirk and Aunt Rikki Fasthorse of Eagle Butte; sister/cousin, Bailey (Rey) Cano; nephew/cousin, Alexander Fast Horse; nieces: Mila Clark and Tristan Bourland; nephews: Mateo Bourland and Kole Bourland; Jedadyah, Thiago, and Alonzo Cano; The Payne, Gunville, Ganje, Clark, Ducheneaux, Rousseau and State Bank of Eagle Butte Families; and all of his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by Grandfather Rick Eberhard; Grandmother Gyla Jandreau; Aunt Rocki Pearman; cousins: Baby Fasthorse and Taryn Ducheneaux; hunka grandfathers: Steve Payne and Jim Picotte; mentor, Jeremy Schad; special friends: Thomas Three Legs, Richie Marrowbone, Carli Haskell and Bryanna Ducheneaux-Clown.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Andre’s arrangements.

Andre was such a kind young man, with his untimely and unfortunate passing leaving such a void and many struggling for answers. His unmatched loyalty to family and friends left an everlasting impression on so many, leaving memories to be forever cherished. Andre had such a likeable personality and way about himself, always displaying brilliance and compassion. I would refer to Andre as my Cousin’s Kid, and his quick-witted replies would always result in a smile filled with laughter. Andre will be missed by so many, and I pray that family and friends find the strength to deal with the pain of his loss. As some will say, he’s in a better place, and this may sound selfish, but we all know his better place was here. Through the most difficult and trying times, we need to focus on the memories and the good times, knowing that Andre will always be with and watch over those he loved and so loved him. Rest in peace – my Cousin’s Kid.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family,Andre was always a kind and respectful young man. When we had him in daycare he was such a sweet young boy , he was always so behaved .We had the opportunity to
be a part of Andres life when he was
friends with our grandson when they
were young boys. Andre , Ashton and Jayden on occasion would use
out kitchen table to build a fort.We
gave our Alec our table and when he
was taking it apart today he noticed
this written underneath the table and I felt I needed to share it. Our condolences .🧡Mark ,Darla Shupick and Family
