Anola Ann Bianas, 51, of Rapid City and formerly of Dupree, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. MST, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Dupree Multipurpose Building with Valerie Curley and Shirley Dog Eagle presiding. Burial followed at St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Bear Creek. An all-night wake began at 7:00p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at the multipurpose building, with a procession from the 2-mile east of town at 5:00 p.m.

Anola Ann Bianas was born September 30, 1965 in Eagle Butte, SD to Kenneth Sr. and Leona (Little Wounded) Bianas. She spent her childhood in the Dupree area before moving to Galt, CA where she finished receiving her education.

While living in CA, Anola gave birth to her only child, Lanie J. Esquivel. Over the years, she lived in Idaho; Ashland, MT; and Rapid City, SD.

Anola is survived by her daughter, Lanie J. Esquivel; special friend: Jonathan Fishback; brothers: Shawn, Lloyd, and Denver Bianas; sisters: Patty, Carole, Ruth, Karen, Dorothy, and JoLynn Little Wounded, Marlita Solider Wolf and Tiffany Bianas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Legend Esquivel; mother, Leona (Little Wounded) Jewett; father, Kenneth Bianas Sr.; uncle, Burgess Bianas Sr.; brothers: Kenneth Jr, Leo and Melvin Bianas; sisters: Kathy Cook, Vonda Bianas, and Carol Hornbeck.

Anola will be missed by all that knew her.

Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Anola’s arrangements.

A Wake was held on March 3, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Dupree Multipurpose Building, Hwy 212 in Dupree, South Dakota
A Funeral Service was held on March 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Dupree Multipurpose Building, Hwy 212 in Dupree, South Dakota
A Graveside Service was held on March 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at St. James Episcopal Cemetery, 5 Miles North of Hwy 212, East of Lantry, SD in Bear Creek, SD 57636
