Beverly Loraine Ringlbauer, 85, of St. Lawrence, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, March 19, at the Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22nd at St. Anns Catholic Church in Miller with Fr. Chester Murtha officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 21, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 scripture service all at Rembold Funeral Home in St. Lawrence. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. MST Wednesday March 23rd at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with Rev. Arnold Kari officiating. Beverly was born November 23, 1925 in Miller to Bernard and Anna (Dobmeier) Goyke. Beverly attended school in the Miller/Polo area, graduating from Polo High School.
On July 24, 1946 she married Roderick Ringlbauer in Miller. They farmed in the Miller/St. Lawrence area until 1957, when they moved to Rapid City. While her husband worked construction, Beverly was a homemaker and mother raising 6 children while also running the couples dairy business. In 1977 they returned to St. Lawrence residing at the Goyke homestead, in York Township where Beverly bred and raised Paint horses.
She was a member of the American Paint Horse Association and the South Dakota Paint Horse Club, serving on the board in various positions and was secretary of the club at the time of her death.
She was an avid Nascar fan, following Dale Jr. whether live at the track or on TV.
Beverly is survived by two sons, Randy R. (Deb) of Amarillo, TX, Jerry R of Sioux Falls; four daughters, Diane (Don) Pugh of Miller, Sherry (Lon) Sidle of Rapid City, Barbara Reckling of Wall, Linda (Frank) Gilbert of Anchorage AK; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters, Berniece Simons of Miller and Colleen Kearns of Olathe, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two great grandsons and three infant sister.
Rembold Funeral Home of St. Lawrence has been entrusted with Beverlys arrangements.
