Buck enjoyed the open highway, whether traveling by truck or motorcycle. He crisscrossed the country as a trucker. He also worked for several area farmers.

  13. When I lived in Columbia, MO I was returning home from a weekend in KC. A semi-driver was honking at me regardless of what I did driving. I pulled over in a rest area and was so surprised to see the semi pull over too. Long story short it was Buckshot. He came to my home and stayed for two days telling the gossip of Gettysburg. My children loved him and I have never laughed so hard. When he left the house was to quite. My youngest then 2 told me I miss your loud friend mom. Many will miss you Buck, the next time when thunder rolls I know you are telling stories.
