Carol Owens, 79 of Pierre passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at her daughter's home in Onida.
A private funeral mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Pierre on Thursday, December 26, 2019 with Father Joseph Holzhauser officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery, Pierre.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Carol’s arrangements.

Carol was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We will miss her. A memorial and her memory was given toCountryside Hospice. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family.
Carol was a wonderful volunteer at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre. She could be relied on to be at the front desk on Monday mornings, greeting visitors and telling them about the museum. She has been missed at the CHC.
