  1. Helen (Joachim) Seefeldt says:

    Dear Sharlene, Dianna and Families:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Helen and Curwood Seefeldt

  2. Diana, sorry about the loss of your father. My prayes and thoughts are with you. Karen

  3. Fond Memories of an old Friend.
When Paul Dean Nelson and I were in High School and our dads were busy farming, Chris took his old dump truck and took us boys pheasant hunting in the slough between Fischer’s and Nelson’s.
Paul and I must have shot 50 pheasants that day. Boy did we catch it from our dads. Chris just laughed. Chris and I shared many a good cup of coffee and treats while playing pool at the ranch. Good friends are hard to find…much less to still have them fifty years later. I am sorry for your loss.

  4. Shar and Dianna,
So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. Chris was a neat man and I enjoyed his antics. Enjoy his memories and keep them close to you as you grieve to sustain you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless. Bruce and Della Schumacher

  5. Mom called last night on the way home from Gettysburg to tell me of Chris’ passing. I wish I could be with you all today. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank you for the lovely slide show on the website.

  6. Karen Schroeder Sorensen says:

Some of my best childhood memories were spent out with Chris and Florence, playing pool, running with the peacocks, and driving out (once) to go square dancing with them. They were both so dear to my Grandma Bessie (Babcock Deyo) and she passed that along to us. I hadn’t heard that Florence had died, so this news comes doubly hard. They were wonderful people and they will be missed. My condolences.
