Christian Kacie Bruguier, 38, of Eagle Butte, entered the spirit world Tuesday, March 20, 2025, in St. Paul, MN.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MDT, Monday, April 7, 2025, at CRST Bingo Hall, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cemetery, Cherry Creek. A wake service will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the hall, with a procession from the 4-Mile at 4:00 p.m.
Christian Kacie Bruguier was born December 25, 1986, to Theophile Bruguier, Sr. and Henrietta Yellow Wolf. Christian grew up with Grandma Dora. She attended Si Tanka Huron College and OLC in Eagle Butte.
Christian enjoyed singing and listening to music, visiting, and making new friends.
Christian is survived by her mother, Henrietta Yellow Wolf; children: Mikau Bruguier-Briggs, Emik Bruguier-Briggs, Zoe Brown, Cameron Hunts Horse Jr., Casie Hunts Horse; sisters: Mirriam Three Legs and kids, Michala and Dayze, and Rachel Bruguier and kids; brothers: Abram Bruguier and kids, Theophile Bruguier Jr., Cornelius, and Elgin Logg Jr.; aunt, Esterlyn; and many other family members.
Christian was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents: Oliver and Dora (Shoots Off) Bruguier; sister, Desiree; uncles: Ivan, Emmett, and Erroll; and aunt: Adrienne Bruguier.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Christian’s arrangements.
