Dale Duane Aesoph was born October 20, 1972 in Gettysburg to Duane and Glenda (Sangster) Aesoph. Dale was born with Cystic Fibrosis and lived a life full of struggles; however, he always fought hard. Everyone called him a warrior, as Dale took things in stride, doing things his way. This time he fought the hardest, but the Lord thought he had fought enough.
Dale attended school in Faulkton, graduating in 1991. Following high school, Dale moved to Aberdeen working for Banner Engineering before moving to Brookings where he went to work for Daktronics. On December 17, 2007 Dale went to work for 3M where he remained until his health forced him to retire. Dale received a new set of lungs on March 12, 2016. He was so happy and loved being able to go places with his friends. He always enjoyed following his nephew’s wrestling and taking in any Washington Redskins football games.
Dale’s life will be cherished by his mother: Glenda Sangster (Cecil Holdren), Faulkton; father: Duane Aesoph (Regina Roehrich), Seneca; brother, Craig Aesoph, Aberdeen; nephews: Jacob, Devin, and Brody Aesoph, Aberdeen; niece, Kylla Aesoph, Aberdeen; uncles: Joe Aesoph, Dean (Alice) Sangster, Bill Aesoph (Tammy Downing); aunts: Sharon Rasler, Ramona Anderson, Kathy Hurst, and Corrine Mangiaruca; and numerous cousins. Dale was loved by all who knew him, he will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ed and Sylvia Aesoph and Glen and June Sangster; and aunts: Dianne Aesoph and Phyllis Traver.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Dale’s arrangements.
