I was very sad to hear of David’s passing. The last time I saw him was at our Miller High School Class of 1949 reunion, held at the Virginian in Miller in September 2010. David was always very cordial and very much a gentlemen. My best regards to his wife, Pete, and to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You will see him again.
My sincerest sympathy on your loss he was a wonderful man
I would like to offer my condolences to the Ames family and friends. It was never the Creator’s purpose for mankind to suffer. The Bible tells us at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that death is an "enemy" of God. Yet Jesus assures us at John 5:28, 29 that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out…". May God give you peace through promise to comfort us. And may your memories of Mr. Ames continue to provide a measure of comfort during this difficult time.
Sincerely
E. Clarke
