Eliza Red Water, two-month old infant of Tiffany Red Water, of Pierre, entered the spirit world Friday, December 30, 2016 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital, Pierre.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., MST, Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Eagle Butte. Burial followed in the LDS Mormon Cemetery, Cherry Creek. A wake service was held at 7:00 p.m., MST, Thursday, January 5, at the church.

Eliza was born on October 8, 2016 in Sioux Falls, SD to Tiffany Red Water of Bismarck, ND. As her mom said, Eliza had a smile that warmed your heart, a laugh that was so joyful and a kiss of an angel. She left us with short but lifetime memories.

Eliza is survived by her mother, Tiffany Red Water, Bismarck, ND; brother, Angel Oliva Solis and two sisters, AnaLia Oliva Solis and Dejah Red Water all of Pierre; maternal grandparents, Dody Blackmoon, Pierre and Jody Blackmoon, Ft. Yates, ND; Launa, Donna and Erica Blackmoon all of Eagle Butte; great grandparents, Alvina Iron Hawk, Eagle Butte and Gabe Blackmoon Sr., Ft. Yates, ND; uncles: Kyle (Mariah) Red Water, Pierre, Wilson (Brandy) Red Water, Eagle Butte, Matthew Red Fox, Eagle Butte, and Dillion Red Fox, Shelly, ID; aunts, Jay Lynn Red Fox, Bismarck, ND and Miranda Red Fox, Shelly, ID; cousins: Robert, Carolina, Edricc, and Emilee.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Red Water Sr. and Jay Red Fox; aunt, Traci Iron Hawk; and cousin, Zckarie Phillips Red Water.

Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Eliza’s arrangements.

A Wake was held on January 5, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eagle Butte, SD 57625
