  1. Barb and Steve, I’m sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  2. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers! Gail was my 7th and 8th grade teacher at West Elida!

  3. She was a good friend and a fine lady!!

  4. Prayers and hugs to all her family! So grateful to have gotten to know her! Quite the lady! She will be missed💕

  5. My condolences to the family. I taught with Gail in the 70’s in Gettysburg and one of my sons had her as a teacher.

  6. So very sorry for your loss. We loved visiting Gayle and will miss her knowledge and warmth. Prayers for strength, healing, and comfort in this time of loss. As we wave goodbye on this shore she is greeted on a distant shore by friends and family that rejoice in her presence.

  7. Praying for the family sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed coming to Pierre and visiting with your mom each year. Her educating us on our family tree. She was a fountain of knowledge. All the work she did putting together all the family tree. She sure helped me fill in some of the blanks. I just wished we would have more time. She will be surely missed.

  8. So sorry to hear Gail has passed. She and Howard were good companions to Grandpa Don for many years. Hope she is smiling down on all the collectables she amassed over her lifetime.

  9. We didn’t get to read “Epaminondas and his Auntie” together like we planned but I cherish every moment together. My thoughts go out to the family.

  10. Gail was my Math teacher in Gettysburg. Loved her. I hadn’t seen her in awhile and then learned she moved to Pierre. When I would see her I enjoyed our visits. Such a great lady. So sorry for your loss. Kim

  11. Donavon and Carol Hottman says:

A wonderful friend to our family. She was so talented and shared it in so many ways. She made the sweetest baby gifts for our daughter’s birth; wrote very precious poems written in her beautiful calligraphy; shared family history and gave a book to Potter County of historical importance. And so much more! Sympathies to her family and friends.

  12. Dear Boke Family, you are in our thoughts and prayers, at this very difficult time. Mom and I remember Gail, enjoying Talisa’s baby shower. She was laughing and visiting, with all of us and was having a great time. We are so thankful, to have that great memory of Gail. Keep your memories close, as they will brighten your days, now and then. With deepest sympathy, Starla, Dennis and Sonja.
