Condolences to the family from over here on Standing Rock
To my best friend, cousin and brother. I will miss you and all the good times we had from childhood until the last time I saw you.
I am deeply saddened and am saying much prayers for you. I know you are in Heaven and going to be ok.
Toksa, Kola.
There is no goodbye in Lakota Chuck. You told me you were my big brother and I knew it. We shared many hunting, fishing, and other adventures together as kids and you always looked out for us and you believed in fairness and compassion. You are to me and my brothers, our role model, an athlete, track star, X-Country runner and many more prideful and good things. We even ran to the YMCA camp together, you, Myrlin (rip), Glenn and me on a clear, bright day, just to do it we said. Mitakye Oyasin my Friend and Brother and may Creator watch over you and yours always.
A true sprinter on the track and life. I ran a many of relays with Gilbert he was a true leader of our squad. I’m certain that he’s home and that we all will run again someday.
