John LeBeau, Jr., 51, of Garretson and formerly of Blackfoot, SD, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Garretson.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. MT, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte with Fr. Les Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Blackfoot. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
John Dorn LeBeau, Jr. was born June 3, 1960 to John Dorn LeBeau and Rosalie Roberts in Eagle Butte, SD. He attended school in San Jose, California graduating in 1979. Following high school John moved to the Sioux Falls, SD area where he remained until the time of his death.
John loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing, grilling, and watching all kinds of sports. He was a wonderful carpenter and mechanic. John will be remembered by his family as a very nice person who was kind to all people.
John’s life will be cherished by his mother: Rosalie LeBeau of Ellsworth, MN; his siblings: James (Sue) of Rosemount, MN, Jeff of Wenatchee, WA, Jason of Sioux Falls, and Jackie of California; his special friend, Janice Larson and family of Lower Brule, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Homer and Dora LeBeau.
Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with John’s arrangements.

I only meet John I believe when I was a very little girl but I have always heard nice things about my uncle, my dad is Jeff LeBeau. I feel bad that I missed out on meeting him as an adult when he was alive. He will be missed by me forever.
