Kendree Foreman, 2 months, daughter of Travis and Kassandra Foreman of Orient, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, Miller with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial followed at Rosehill Cemetery, rural Wessington. A prayer service was held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Reck Funeral Home in Miller.
Kendree was born July 30, 2010 to Travis and Kassandra Foreman in Aberdeen. She joined big brother, Teagan and big sister, Kyler. Kendree was born with Truncus Arteriosus Type II, a very rare Congenital Heart Defect. Even though her time here was short, she left a huge impact on everyone’s lives. When Kendree would smile, she would light up your world. She was a very strong, independent and lovable girl. With everything she went through, she was a fighter and survivor; she was a great baby with a sweet soul. Kendree was just beginning to giggle and reach for things.
Blessed to have shared in her life are her parents, Travis and Kassandra Foreman and siblings, Teagan and Kyler Foreman; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Kay Foreman; maternal grandparents, Ed and Tina Johnson; aunts and uncles: Kayla Foreman, Cody Foreman, Jon Halling and Alicia Halling; great grandparents: Darrel and Stella Foreman, Victor and Erma Woodruff and Dar and Connie Johnson; and all her cousins who loved her.
Waiting to greet her at Heaven’s gate is her maternal grandfather, David Herrick and great grandma, Joyce Woodruff.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Kendree’s arrangements.

I found this poem to offer comfort as sometimes we can’t find the right words to say. I am sadened to hear about the loss of your precious little angel. Our families thoughts and prayers are with your.

I can’t speak for the rest of the crew, but as one of them that tried to get Kendree into town quickly – my heart sank when we lost the battle. I wish there was a way to figure out why life is fair somedays and not fair on others. I hope that some day you can find peace in your healing process. I’m so very sorry for your loss.There are no words to express the sorrow and pain of losing a child all to soon. Travis Kassandra and Family. I am so sorry for what you guys are going threw. I wish there was something I could say or do to make all this hurt and pain go away. But I will continue to pray that every day gets a little easier. Kendree was a BEAUTIFUL little girl and I am so blessed to have spent the short amount of time I did with her. She taught everyone love and hope and strength and will be missed but never forgot.I LOVE you all very much.
