Kimberly Dawn Archambault, Op’o la Win, blessed our lives on September 15, 1986. She came into this world by her loving, caring, kind parents, George "Oscar" Archambault, Jr. and the late Cheryl Eileen Johnson. She grew up on the Cheyenne River along with her brother, Michael Archambault; sisters, Marie and Momoree; and cousins: James and Kendell Skinner, and Latoya, Marcus, and Wyatt Lapointe.
Kimberly went to school on Cheyenne River, in Pierre SD, and in Bismarck, ND. In her young adult years she worked as a flagger, with her friends, for a road construction crew and also as a fire fighter for Cheyenne River. During her off seasons, she pursued her education. She graduated with her G.E.D and was currently chasing her dream in pursuing a business administration degree.
Those close to her knew that she was loved dearly, fought hard, laughed, cried and shared in people’s pains and hard times. She was always doing her best to cheer her friends up with her beautiful smile, her laughter, her jokes and reminiscing about good times. She was, still is, and always will be, loved by the ones she loved, cared for, and thought of most highly. Auntie Mary Garter was by her side until the end.
She will be dearly missed by all who came to know Kimberly as a daughter, sister, niece, takoja, cousin, companion, and a friend. She no longer suffers and no longer has to walk a hard road. All here on unci maka, her relatives know that she is in a better place, back home with Tunkasila, our mom, Cheryl, and all our relatives.
Kimberly is proceeded in death by her mother, Cheryl Eileen Johnson; baby sister, Larae Lee; maternal parents: Arlene Eileen Scott and Tyron Johnson; grandpa, Grover Scott; grandma, Adelia Birdnecklace; paternal parent; George Archambault, Sr.; uncle, Curtis Archambault; Lala Moses Garter and grandma, Amy Counting Garter.
Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Kimberly’s arrangements.

R.I.P. my beautiful niece.
We are so sorry to read of the untimely death of Kimberly and send our heartfelt sympathy. May the resurrection hope that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29 of seeing our love one again give her family comfort during this time of sorrow. The Dawes family
