Kimimila Rose Red Water was born October 29, 2019 in Pierre, South Dakota to Kyanne Red Water. At three weeks, LauRaina Red Water began to care for and love her. Kimimila was very well loved. She enjoyed the taste of pickles and pineapple. She had the biggest smile that would light up a room. She grew to love her bath time and music would calm her. She liked watching Cocomelon and Moana. She could grab anyone and everyone's attention and loved spending time in Big Bend with her grandma, Theresa. Kimimila was very spoiled by Lauraina and everyone in Grandma Mary’s house. Her nicknames were mimi, mims, mimster, and psycho mims. She was stingy with her time but now we know why because of her short time. She will be greatly missed but forever loved.
Her memory will be cherished by her mom, Kyanne Red Water; caregiver, LauRaina Red Water; little sister, Khia Rae Neadeau; father, Antonio Neadeau; grandmother, Carla Howe; great grandmother, Naomi Chapman; grandpa, Dale Red Water; and a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Greeting her in Heaven is her papa, Robert Red Water; grandpa, Jason Howe; great grandpas: Arnold Howe, Joseph “Kernie” Red Water, Michael Red Water, and Dominic Red Water; great grandmas: Arlene McBride and Rena Carry Mocassin; and cousin, Eliza Red Water.
Luze Funeral Home of Highmore has been entrusted with Kimimila’s arrangements.

My name is Carl Durfee. I was a child (2-4) living with my parents at Stephan, SD in the early 1940s. Robert Red Water & my dad (Emmet Durfee) were both working there at that time. They were friends. Dad always talked about Robert carrying me around & teaching me some words of the Sioux language. Dad said it used to make him so mad when he talked to me & I would answer in the Sioux language. 😊 Robert has long departed from us but he will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time.
