Landree Lee Leisy “Peanut”, went to heaven on May 12, 2015.
Funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Miller. Burial followed at G.A.R. Cemetery, Miller.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Chris and Michelle, and her big brother, Corey.
Those left who will miss her are her parents, Chris and Michelle (Christopherson) Leisy and her brother, Corey of St. Lawrence; grandparents: Charlotte Christopherson of Miller, Larry Leisy of Ellsworth, NE, and Linda Leisy of Alliance, NE; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She will be welcomed in Heaven by her grandfather, Burle Christopherson, Sr.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Landree's arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear the news about your recent loss of your dear baby. I can not imagine your feelings of sorrow as a Mother. With my sincere condolences, I write you today. Your family are in my
thoughts and prayers. I am sending you a note of comfort and a sincere hope that
you can find peace at this hurtful time. Remember, Jesus even shed tears for his
friend “Lazarus" in the Bible-died. He also brought back a child, from death. Death is a very hurtful enemy of the living.

I found comfort with my mothers lost at age thirteen, by reading scriptures. I received a letter similar to this one, with a similar message. I found reading and searching for God and his promises helped. I visited a website (JW.ORG) and It is full of scriptures of Hope and information about the Bible, and I loved the resurrection hope the bible talks about. I am sure you will as well. Its encouraging and peaceful.
