Lloyd "Moose" Peck, age 66, of Highland, Indiana and formerly of Harrold, SD, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Hospice in Crown Point, Indiana.
Graveside services were held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, August 12 at Medicine Hill Cemetery, Harrold, with Father Paul Nereparmpil officiating. Luze Funeral Home of Highmore was entrusted with arrangements.
Lloyd was born September 25, 1940 in Pierre to Odie and Julie (Moore) Peck.
Lloyd was a lifelong ironworker for the Local 395, avid sports fan, collected coins and clocks. He loved animals especially fish and his dog Mitsy. Donations to St Anthony Hospice would be appreciated.
He is survived by his children: Terry Peck of Harrold, Tamara (Robert) Gembala, Jr of Crown Point, IN, Sherri Peck, Bonita White both of Merrillville, IN, Jamie Jensen of Hammond, IN; grandchildren: Jason Gembala, Ryan Peck, Rachael Heiser, Anthony Velarde, Chelsea White, Miranda White and Makayla Davis; brother: Francis Peck of Lower Brule; and sister: Cathy (Larry) Kerry of Highmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Floyd Peck; brother, Sylvester Peck; and sister, Sharon Peck.
