Loren F. Rosemore, 73, of Miller, SD, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital, Miller.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, Miller, with Pastor Brian Jones officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery, Miller. Visitation ws held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 15, 2014 with a 4:00 p.m. prayer service at the First United Methodist Church in Miller, with Pastor Mark Johnsen officiating.
Loren Fredrick Rosemore was born February 25, 1941 to Clarence and Margie (Stonefield) Rosemore in Miller, South Dakota. In 1964, he moved to Nevada and worked at the magnesium mine, Woody’s Chevrolet, and the Nevada Department of Highways. Then, in 1984, he moved back to Miller, and worked for his brother Vince and for Evans Construction. He married Angie Knecht Hibbinson on June 11, 1988 at the First Presbyterian Church in Miller, South Dakota. Once Loren retired, he worked as needed for Miller Concrete, Resel Construction, Foreman Bus, and Charlie Haberling.
Loren loved to work on his parents 1962 Chrysler. He would spend a majority of his time washing and shining his pickup, even though there was rarely a speck of dirt on it or any of our vehicles. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Angie of Miller; beloved pet, Emily “Blackie”; two daughters, Dion Hight of Rapid City, and Dawnell (Duane) Miller of Nampa, ID; grandchildren: Joshua (Brianna) Ingersoll of Gillette, WY, Kyle (Jessica) Ingersoll of Wright, WY, Zackery Gustin of Virginia Beach, VA, Dannea (Josh) Reams, and Darenda, Dreaya, and Draden Miller all of Nampa, ID; great grandsons: Dustin, Ian, Daniel and Garrett Ingersoll; sister, Loretta (Erv) Diede of Hastings, MN; twin sister, Leila (Marlin) Jerpseth of Burnsville, MN; sisters-in-law: Angie, Micki, and Bobbi Rosemore; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Shirley Elder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margie Rosemore and brothers: Orville (Bud), Larry, Vince, and Gus Rosemore.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Loren’s arrangements.




Angie I was shocked to read about Loren. I am so sorry! Sending many thoughts and prayers your way. Will be thinking of you in the days to come.
Angie There will always be a soft spot in our heart for you and Loren. We remember his humor and love to meet and greet everyone. Jimmie was always fond of Good Old Lorrie.

Sorry of your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be missed in the coffee shop he was always so jolly, I had many visits with him there and enjoyed them much.
