Lorrayne B. Maroney Anderson, age 93, was called to heaven on August 29, 2020. She passed away at Los Colinas of Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX.

Funeral Service were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2020 at Luce Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with Pastor David Otten officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, SD.

Lorrayne B. Maroney Anderson was born on February 21, 1927 in Potter County, South Dakota on the LeRoy “Roy” Maroney farm to Farril and Viola (Walker) Maroney. She was the oldest of 10 children.

On June 17, 1946, she married Teddy J. Anderson. To their union two sons were born, James Teddy Anderson on August 16, 1946, and Donald Loren Anderson on November 4, 1947.

Lorrayne lived in Aberdeen, SD, for twenty-five years until she went to live with her daughter in San Antonio, TX, until her passing.

Lorrayne is survived by her son, Donald Loren Anderson of Mitchell, SD); her foster daughter, Marie (Steven) Phillips of San Antonio, TX; sister, Shirley (Eugene) Beitelspacher of Selby, SD; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Lorrayne was preceded in death by her parents, Farril Maroney and Viola Walker Maroney; her son, James Teddy Anderson; grandparents, George and Fannie Walker, and LeRoy “Roy” and Minnie (Willis) Maroney; brothers, Howard Maroney, Robert (Vi) Maroney, and Larry (Marilyn) Maroney; sisters, Delores (Charles) LaFranier, Barbara (Earl) Gaulding, Marlyn (Charley) Phillip, Donna Grant, Katherine (Tom) Rogers.
