Marcella married Raymond Lemler on May 2, 1950. To this union five children were born. They made their home on the farm and ranch in Northwest Potter County. She loved the farm and spent much of her time in the garden, which lead to much time spent canning fruits and vegetables. In 1977, Raymond and Marcella retired to Gettysburg and made their home at 308 S. Park.

Marcella will be remembered for being an excellent cook. She was the master at putting together many family meals and her famous caramel rolls. In her retirement she loved spending time making quilts and afghans for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
