Michael Joseph David Paul Scholten was born to Robert and Cheri Scholten on April 28 2010. Michael was hugged, kissed & loved for the brief but wonderful 1 and hours he was with us before joining his heavenly Father. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at the St. Placidus Catholic Church near Duncan. Family visitation will be Friday, May 7 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 rosary service at Rembold Funeral Home of St. Lawrence. Interment will be at St. Placidus Catholic Cemetery near Duncan.
Michael is survived by his parents Robert and Cheri Scholten of rural Miller: 6 siblings, Sara Hartung of Dickenson N D. Kara Hartung of Hartford SD, Dale, Katrina, Julia,& Patrick Scholten of rural Miller; paternal grandmother Veronica Scholten of Dell Rapids, SD, maternal grandparents Bob and Sharon Weber of Strandburg SD, great grandfather John Weber of Strandburg, SD; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather Joseph Scholten, aunt Joanne Geraets and uncle Dale Weber.
