He spent over 30 years in active county service, including the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (now FSA), and served many years on the Lebanon Equity Exchange and the Hoven Equity Exchange boards.
He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen of Gettysburg; children: Gary (Sandra) Simon of Madeira Beach, FL, Maure Ann (Craig) Weinkauf of Watertown, Jerry (Judy) Simon, Gettysburg, and Pat (Diane) Simon, Lebanon; six grandchildren: Heidi Weinkauf Wright, Rebecca Weinkauf Glover, Jeremy Simon, Jessika Simon, Andrew Simon, Dawson Simon; three great grandchildren; one brother, Vic (Ann) Simon of Hoven; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A great man known by many. RIP Morey !
Morey’s 17 years on the Mid-Dakota board, many as Chairman, was a large share of what made the water system so successful. Money’s leadership and cheerful disposition is missed! God Bless Morey and may he comfort Colleen and the Simon family.

This message is really late, but we just learned of Morrie’s death. Our sincere sympathy to Colleen and family. We had good times together during our Mid Dakota years. We will always remember the Spokane trip. May memories help ease the pain of Morrie’s loss.
