  6. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

I remember very well the 1 o’clock golf dates that Newell use to have with Orval and Lefty.
We always waited for the red pickup to drive up!

  7. Orval will be sorely missed. He was a good uncle to me, and I was blessed to see his love for his family, community, and especially to his beloved wife, my Auntie Avis.

Orval and Avis lived well, and they shared an amazing strength and love with one another that is rarely seen in these days/times. I know Orval’s passing will leave a great hole in Avis’ life, and I pray for her sorrow to pass, and her joyful memories to return.

Orval loved his kids/grandkids/great-grandkids with a joyful love. May they honor that love he extended by amplifying it and passing it on to their kids and grandkids.

We will you all peace, when you are ready, and tears when you need them. May your tears always clear your vision and remembrance of beloved Orval.

    In respect, sympathy and love,
    Sandy Darley-Dodd (Lola Schilder’s daughter)
