There will come a day
when your tears of sorrow
will softly flow into tears of remembrance…
and your heart will begin to heal itself…
and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy…
and you will hear the whisper of hope.
There will come a day
when you will welcome the tears of remembrance…
as a sunshower of the soul…
a turning of the tide…
a promise of peace.
There will come a day when you will…
risk loving…
go on believing…
and treasure the tears of remembering.
Words of comfort cannot meet the magnitude of your loss.

I recall the compassion Pam quietly displayed in her life. May we all treat others with the compassion that she had! My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends. May God be with you and comfort you during this time of sorrow.
I remember Pam from many Snow Queen events as well as being a permanent presence at the back of the Auditorium during practices and concerts.
She was an honest, caring, and genuine person. I only wish she could have been with her friends and family longer, but am grateful she is now at heavens door; watching and protecting those of us left behind.
God Bless her family.

Our hearts are broken for your family … to lose a loved one to such violence is a tragedy on top of a tragedy… A saying I once heard (and paraphrased below) has been such a source of strength to me. I hope it will be the same for you …
In the face of utter despair and darkness … you must find the strength to plant a tree in your heart in memory of your loved one. The tree will be watered and nourished by your tears and your prayers … and someday … I promise … a bird will land in the branches and begin to sing.
My prayers are with you.. Love you so much

Pam was two classes ahead of me. Pam was a super person with a big heart, fun to be around. She would lend an ear and listen to anything you wanted to talk about. My fondest memory of her was her big smile that came from her heart. She will be missed. Kevin Durfee

I want you to know that there are people who have walked the road that you are on and can understand the depth of your emotions. My sister and her mother-in-law were both murdered by their spouses in separate incidents in Rapid City in 1988. My husband and I adopted my sister’s son. You are certainly in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate the legal system and try to find some way to get through each day. IF you need another voice in the fight against domestic violence….you can count on me. God Bless.
