Mrs. Ted Jennings (Polly), 88, of Miller died at Prairie Good Samaritan Center in Miller, SD on Sunday, November 5, 2006.
Funeral services were10:30 a.m., Friday, November 10 at First United Methodist Church in Miller with Rev. David Andrews presiding. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miller. Visitations was Thursday from 3-7 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Reck Funeral Home in Miller.
Pauline Marie Lentsch was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lentsch in Livermore, IA, on June 29, 1918. She grew up and graduated from high school there.
She married Ted Jennings on November 17, 1938. In 1941 they moved to Miller, SD, where they resided ever since.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a past trustee and Life member of the UMW, and taught Sunday School for a number of years.
Survivors include two sons: Gary (Mary) of Rochester, MN and John of Reno, NV; one daughter-in-law: Jean of Miller; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; one son, Ronald; her parents; four brothers and three sister.
