Ralland Ralph Titze age 75 and long time resident of Gettysburg passed away June 22, 2008 at his home.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gettysburg with Pastor Mark Moldenhauer officiating. Burial was in the Gettysburg Cemetery with full military honors. Visitations was 2:00-7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Luce Funeral Home in Gettysburg with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service.

Ralland Ralph Titze was born July 22, 1932 to Carl and Clara (Kursave) Titze in Gettysburg where he grew up and lived his entire life. He attended school in Lebanon, South Dakota. From February 1952 to 1954 he served in the Korean War. He also served thirty years in the National Guard and retired as a Master Sgt.

On March 7, 1956 he was united in marriage to his sweetheart Judy Spicer at the Lutheran Church in Lebanon, South Dakota. After being united in marriage they lived their life in Gettysburg with their family

Ralland worked for Louie Bartels as a mechanic for many years prior to becoming employed by the Potter County Implement in the 1980’s until his retirement. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his two daughters: Karla Schmidt of Watertown and Mary Fastert of Sioux Falls, one brother: Kenny (Caroline) Titze of Lebanon; three grandchildren; a special niece: Teri Maude and her two children and one sister-in-law: Ruth Titze, Ft Pierre, South Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy in 1986, his parents, two grandchildren, one nephew, many brothers and sisters and a special friend Leona Wager.

Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Ralland's arrangements.

  4. Sorry to hear about Rall, He and mom had alot of good times together. I wish I could make it out for the funeral, but have already been juggling my work schedule to come out June 28- July 7. If there is anything we can do for you while we are in the area let us know. My phone is 507-421-0002. Cindy may make it out for the funeral, but we are both willing to help if you need.   8. I think about Grandpa every day and miss him dearly. I would give anything to move those ashes in a pile on the kitchen table with his pinky one more time or kiss him on his bald head one more time.
