Richard "Huey" Larrabee, Jr.

Richard “Huey” Larrabee, Jr., 21, of Eagle Butte, passed away Friday July 31, 2015 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., MDT, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte with Mother Margaret Watson officiating. Burial followed in the UCC Cemetery, Green Grass. Wake services began at 7:00 p.m., MDT, Friday, August 7, 2015 at the church with a procession from the 4 mile corner at 3:00 p.m., MDT.
Richard Alexander “Huey” Larrabee, Jr. was born on November 20, 1993 in Rapid City to Robin Bad Male and Richard Larrabee, Sr. He lived in Green Grass until 2002 when his mom passed away; he then moved to Eagle Butte and was raised by his Grandpa Richard and his Grandma Pat. Huey attended school at Cheyenne Eagle Butte.
Huey’s life will be cherished by his father, Richard A. Larrabee, Sr.; his brother, Trenton “Archie” M. Larrabee; his uncles: Loren and Delwayne Larabee; his aunties: Dawn R. Bad Male, Benita Elk Eagle, and Kim Larrabee; his grandmas: Elenor Dupris, Gloria Hawk Eagle, Rudy Schied, and Pat Red Fox; his grandpas: Richard Red Elk and Ben Elk Eagle; his great grandmas: Margie Clown, Carol Thompson, and Rose Bad Hand; his great grandpas: JoeMilo Blue Coat and Norman Blue Coat; and many other friends and relatives.
Huey is preceded in death by his mother, Robin Bad Male; his baby brother, Telles Bad Male; his grandparents: Moses, Helen, Lyle, and Joyce Bad Male and Alberta Blue Coat Hawk Eagle; his uncle, Doug Dupree, Jr.; and many other friends and relatives.
Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Huey’s arrangements.
