Richard Jimmy Taylor, 77, of St. Lawrence, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital, Miller.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Chester Murtha, celebrant. Burial was held at 3:00 p.m., MT, Tuesday, November 8 at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis with military honors.

Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Richard's arrangements.

A Funeral Service was held on November 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 709 East 4th St. in Miller, South Dakota 57362
A Graveside Service was held on November 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Black Hills National Cemetery, 20901 Pleasant Valley Drive in Sturgis, South Dakota 57785

  2. For Richard’s Family. my sincere condolences. Thanks to Richard for his dedicated service in the United States Air Force. Dickie, as I knew Richard as a Kid, way before we were even teenagers was a loyal and trusted friend. His face was a familiar sight at the family supper table. Richard was a true friend and great citizen.

    Richard or as I knew him Dick was a great man and a good cousin. I remember him from childhood as the tall one. He will be missed.
