On May 1, 1946 Ruth married Florian Selting in Polo and together made their home on a farm near Faulkton, where they farmed for 53 years. She and Florian went dancing every Saturday night as often as they could. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Ruth was a very devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her grandchildren will always remember her delicious chocolate cake and frosting.
