Nick and I send our deepest sympathy to all of Sadie’s family. I have many, many fond memories of sleepovers in that old Valley township farmhouse and of the world’s most delicious prune kolaches–your mother made the best!

So sorry to hear that Sadie passed away. We were so glad that we had a chance to visit with her during the Bezner Reunion. I know she knew who we were when she looked up with her quick little smile as we were looking at the picture of Art and myself. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

We would like you to know how much my family and i are going to miss Sadie! She was an awesome lady and we really enjoyed getting to know her over the past few years at the Highmore Healthcare Center. My kids- Kassie(6 yrs old) and Dawson(4 yrs old)- adored her, whenever we went out there we always had to stop and visit Sadie! Her face would light right up as she seen them coming. I will miss Sadie and her “Just Fine” with smile. Every time I would ask her how she was doing she would smile and say, Just Fine. Then one day she started trying not to smile and not give me her pat answer, but finally she gave in. On one occasion she never did smile or answer, and the next time I came she let me know that she remembered pulling that one on me. She gave me my smile and a big “Just fine.” I am certain she is really just fine now safely in the hands of Jesus. May God bless and comfort you all.
