Shirley L. McClure, 81, of Agar, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her home in Agar.
A family service was held on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Gettysburg, with burial following at the Gettysburg Cemetery.
Shirley’s life will be cherished by her children: daughters, Vicky (Kirk) Barr, Oakland, NE, Michelle Buol, Mitchell, and Shana (Jim) Huls, Lennox; son, Seth (DeAnn) McClure, Yankton; daughter-in-law, Jeanine McClure, Gettysburg; eight grandchildren: Gwen (Joe) Martin, Nathanial Smith, Avery Comp, Haley and Cayden Huls, Brody, Madison and Emerson McClure; two great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Martin and Silas Masar Smith; sister, Sharon Heffernan; two nephews; and one niece all of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Lucille Von Wald; and son, Steven J. McClure.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Shirley’s arrangements.

I remember Shirley as a beautiful girl at Agar High School. She showed a lot of grace and class and she was a friend to everyone. My condolences and best wishes to her children, grandchildren and other loved ones.
Shirley was a friend of mine in the 60's we lived in Pirrie. i go by Betty Allen.
