Stanley J. Krantz, 78, of St. Lawrence, died at his home on August 27 under the excellent care of hospice. Graveside inurnment as requested by Stanley will be announced at a later date.
Stanley John Krantz was born March 18, 1935 to Bernard and Veronica (Och) at Spring Hill, Minnesota. He attended school at Lake Henry, Minnesota. He served in the Air Force for four years being stationed in Texas. After his service in the Air Force, Stanley moved to Miller where he met and married Norma Aalbers in 1960. He worked as a crane operator for 35 years until an accident in 2006 that ended his career.
Stanley is survived by his soul mate, Norma; one sister, Ione Raeker of Minneapolis, MN; three brothers, Dennis (Delores) Krantz of Ham Lake, MN, Gary (Pat) Krantz of Tenstrike, MN, Chuck (Pat) Krantz of Isanti, MN; six sisters-in-law, Marlene Krantz of Minneapolis, MN, Sharon Krantz of Paynesville, MN, Linda Aalbers, Donna Aalbers Grogan of Mitchell, SD, Judy Aalbers Beaner of Aberdeen, SD, Ann Eschenbaum Aalbers of Mitchell, SD; three brothers-in-law, Roger Grogan of Mitchell, SD, Chuck Beaner of Aberdeen, SD, Jack Aalbers of Mitchell, SD; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jerome and James, father and mother in law, Gradus and Florine Aalbers and brother in law Jim Aalbers.
