Trisha Marie Adams was born July 23, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Mary Lee Sargeant (Adams) and Step Father Ivan Sargeant, Sr. Trisha attended Fort Thompson Elementary School, Crow Creek High School and graduated from Nemo High School in Nemo, SD. She then moved back home to Stephan, SD and worked as a CNA for the Highmore Health Center in Highmore, SD. She did work various jobs throughout her life. Her most recent jobs were for the Citibank and DakotAbilities Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Although she had many health problems, she continued working until her passing.
Trisha was a caring, loving person. She always worried about others before herself. She had a big heart. She loved everybody especially her animals. She loved to go fishing and to pow-wows. She always loved to explore and meet new people and make new friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and relatives whenever she had the chance.
Trisha always had a beautiful smile that we are going to truly miss. But she left an empty place in our hearts that can never be filled. She will never be forgotten. Now we can only think Happy Memories of her. She is a guardian angel in Heaven watching over all of us. She will always be loved and missed dearly by all.
Trisha is survived by her stepfather: Ivan Sargeant, Sr. of Stephan, SD; sisters: Lucy Sargeant of Lower Brule, Clarissa Sargeant of Stephan, SD, and Susan Roberts of Council Bluffs, IA; brothers: Ivan Sargeant Jr. of Stephan, SD, Michael and Wilbur Adams of Sioux Falls, Joey Nacarelli of Council Bluffs, IA and Arthur Zampese of El Paso, TX ; adopted sisters: Charlene Iron Star of Pierre, SD and Jackie Sargeant of Macy, NE; one adopted brother: Brian Sargeant of Macy, NE and many nieces and nephews.
She will be welcomed home by her mother, Mary Lee Sargeant (Adams); a sister, Melissa Sargeant; uncles: Wardel Red Hawk and Rudy Adams; grandparents: Janette Red Hawk and Stanley Adams and many more relatives.
Luze Funeral Chapel of Highmore has been entrusted with Trisha’s arrangements.
