Aunt Bobbie, DeeAnn, Marla, Mike and families. I am so sorry about Uncle Vince. I sure wanted to have atleast one BIG hug from him before he left us. I remember the good night hugs when I was little, staying over at your house. I also remember thinking that he was a tall man, and how did he get so tall? To a little girl he was tall! I remember when I bought the van, he gave me a big hug and the words out of his mouth were…”Here’s the keys, have fun and Don’t forget to get insurence on that Van!” Just like a dad would. He was a great man, and will be dearly missed by all of us! I miss the hugs already. Remember we are thinking of you. Rest in Peace Uncle Vince we will miss you. Love, Tracy, Les, Dominique and Michael Winsell

Bobbi..Vince worked at Titus Trotman Implement when I worked there and first knew him. While working for Reck Funeral Home he was in charge of arrangements when my father passed away in 1962 and again when my mother passed away in 1984. We sincerely appreciated his dedication, his help and professionalism as well as his caring ways. Our sympathy to you and your family. Mariellen

Praying for God’s blessing to comfort you. It was a pleasure knowing Vince and his family and his brothers and sisters. A name that will always come to mind when the town of Miller is mentioned.

  20. Mike, my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father.

  21. Terry and Donna Smokov says:

Was surprised to hear about Vince. We send our sincere condolences and prayers to Bobbi and family. Hearing “Hey, Cowboy Girl” was Vince’s way of acknowledging me every time he saw me. He always gave us a reason to appreciate life and chuckle a little bit. Even though we live away from there now we often talk of the people that made Miller our “hearts home”. Vince was one of them. We still miss ALL of you.
We’re sending mental hugs to you.
    Donna and Terry

  22. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. It’s hard for me to say in a few words what a great guy Vince was. I first remember Vince from when my parents ran the Northside Cafe. Vince and Gus would come in to the cafe for coffee every day. He learned my nickname from my Dad at that time and has always called me by my childhood nickname, even up until the last time I saw him a couple of years ago. He will be missed; but, Heaven will be a lot more fun with him there!

  23. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

  24. schriver's memorial mortuary says:

We All here at Schriver’s want to extend our sympathy to you. We have fond memories of Vince. His phone calls, him driving for us and just working with him was all enjoyable.
    God Bless,
    The Schriver Family

  25. My sincere sympathy to family members. I’ve know Vince and siblings ever since I was a child and spent a lot of time growing up with Leila, at her parents’ home in Miller. Cancer is such an evil ending to a good life. Vince is in a ‘happy’ place now.

  26. Marla, Eric and family~
So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Our prayers are with you.
