Wyatt Jose Waters, 22, of Takini, SD, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 near Takini, as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. MDT, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Red Scaffold Gym, Red Scaffold. Burial followed in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cemetery, Red Scaffold. Two night wake services were held at 8:00 p.m. MDT, Monday, February 9, 2015 and 8:00 p.m. MDT, Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Red Scaffold Gym, Red Scaffold with a procession from the hill west of Red Scaffold at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Wyatt’s arrangements.

We were so sorry to hear the tragic news & loss. Wyatt was a member of the CHEYENNE RIVER LAKOTA FIREFIGHTERS & served as a handcrew & engine crew member. The overall Fire Program expresses our condolences & our prayers & thoughts are with the family this day. Wyatt will be greatly missed.
